We are delighted to recommend our neighbours.

Green Lane Farm Bed and Breakfast

Nick, Caroline and their family are fantastic hosts and you'll not want for a better breakfast with fresh eggs from their very own hens.

The accomodation is warm and comfortable, a real home from home that just happens to be on a working farm in our fabulous countryside. Complete with wi-fi, en-suite facilities and your own lounge, being away from home doesn't get any better than this.

The Old Station Inn

A most eclectic and unique place, Neville and Debbie have created a great atmosphere in this country pub. The food is to die for and for that added touch of special you can dine in the authentic Great Western railway carriage.

They have a great beer garden and can cater for small to large functions. They also offer accomodation so no need to beg a lift home at the end of the party!

Farringtons Farm Shop

Whilst our other neighbours have got breakfast and dinner covered these guys do a great line in lunches! And cakes! And shopping!

The converted farm buildings run by Tish and Andy offer a fabulous traditional farm shop full of local produce as well as a delightful cafe. There is generally a childrens event during the school holidays but every day you will find donkeys, chickens, budgies and of course cows to keep the kids interested.

Labradoodle Trust

Not exactly a neighbour but our visiting book dog Betty is a supporter of the Labradodle Trust and who are we to argue with her.

The Labradoodle Trust are a voluntary organisation who not only rescue Labradoodles and Golden Doodles but seek to educate the public on these dogs and dispel the myths surrounding them.

Its our intent to hold an awareness day for them but please do try to support them if you are able. They are always on the look out for fosterers, fund raisers and potential new homes for the dogs in their care.

Read it Swap it!!!

The UK's free book swap shop! Free second-hand book exchange - swap books you've read for new books, recycle books and get rid of used books. Local members have regular meets here at Bookbarn where they would appear to restock their book shelves before going off to the pub for a great lunch.
